I tried to capture the crowded nature of the train in secret without anybody noticing I was taking a picture, especially since the train was filled with soldiers going home for leave. I mainly captured this old man who had actually pretty good English. We spoke for a little bit.

Here I am sitting on the floor of the train. We had to wait to take this picture until the number of passengers decreased a little bit. Wageh was worried about what others might think.

Here is Wageh on the train. The man who walked up and down the crowded aisles is also partly shown in this picture with his huge metal tea pot, which almost smacked me in the head during one of his passes.

Here we are trying to throw Wageh out of the moving train.

Here was the small bed the both of us shared for the night and three hours that we slept at Wageh's parents' house.

This is the view from the bed of Wageh's house.

Here we are at the train station at 3:30 in the morning enjoying some tea and listening to one of the kiosks at the station blare its quranic recitation tape.
Here we are at the church with the man who obviously had no idea who Wageh was when Wageh started kissing and hugging him. But he was nice enough.

Here we are asleep in the typical gay Arab/Egyptian style. Wageh is actually asleep in this picture. This was not staged or posed in anyway.

The man in the middle is the kind soul that for an hour spent large amounts of his phone credit in order to try and find us a place to stay. We are in front to the Nile.

Minya at sunset.
